My time at Marquette was absolutely invaluable. There were countless times when I was writing a story after graduation, shooting a standup or going live where flashbacks from MUTV and broadcast classes flashed before my eyes. Until I started my career, I never realized that the majority of college students don’t have a student-run television station. MUTV not only gave me an advantage in the job market, but it also provided me with the confidence I needed to start my broadcast career. As a journalist and public relations professional, I am always proud to say I’m a Marquette alum.
