You know how the Big Mac ad goes: “Two all-beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese...” Simple, right? But famous all over the world. A Marquette grad came up with that. You can come up with the next great new slogan, with a little help from Marquette’s advertising curriculum.

Marquette’s advertising program offers you a chance to work in the Milwaukee advertising community developing close contacts with the people who can help you succeed in school and beyond.


Learning Power
You’ll need a good foundation. You’ll get it with Marquette’s blend of liberal arts courses and hands-on advertising classes. From your first advertising class to your last, you’ll develop marketing strategies, write ads and plan media placements with a grounding in communication ethics and law.

Meet the pros through the Advertising Club and participate in a national advertising competition where you’ll present your ideas to advertisers. Get on-the-job experience through an internship. Take classes from experienced professionals and full-time faculty members.
