Wouldn’t it be fun to develop a PR campaign for a hot new band? Or raise awareness about a new product? Or write a public service announcement for a non-profit’s cause?

Marquette’s PR students strive to give back and make a difference in their communities. And one of our grads did just that - by becoming president and CEO of her own full service agency.

Learning Power
Marquette has a Jesuit tradition, so expect a balance of PR writing and planning classes along with coursework in the liberal arts. The College of Communication requires its PR students to take a campaigns class to learn how to develop and implement successful plans for the companies where they work. Design classes allow students to use state-of-the-art technology and learn the software they will use in their careers. PR professionals are regularly invited into classes to share their experiences with students.

Get Real
Join the Public Relations Student Society of America and network with area professionals. Virtual mentoring puts students in touch with professionals over the web. Earn credit through an internship with a local agency.
