Performing Arts

Dream Your Dream
The lights dim. The audience gasps. The spotlight’s on you.

“The quality of mercy is not strained...”

OK, maybe you don’t want to do Shakespeare. Maybe you’d rather be in the next Spielberg. Or maybe you’d like to be a producer. One of Marquette’s graduates produced the Academy Award winning movie, “The Little Mermaid.”

The Performing Arts program gives students a solid training in acting, directing, theatre management, set, sound and costume design and construction.

"You use a glass mirror to see your face; you use works of art to see your soul" - George Bernard Shaw.
