Why
Marquette?
At its core, debate is all about opening and extending dialogue, and I relish the opportunity to be part of a process that awakens civic-minded interest in today's students. In response to that need, the Diederich College of Communication provides a myriad of opportunities for members of our community to take part in discussions related to the pertinent issues facing our world today. In all, I firmly believe that the emphasis Marquette University places on educating the "whole person" is what is needed to foster enlightened global citizenship.
