John L. Paluszek

Position: Senior Counsel, Ketchum Communication, New York and Washington D.C.
Specialization: Reputation management and corporate responsibility

John L. Paluszek is Senior Counsel at Ketchum (New York and Washington D.C.) specializing in reputation management and corporate responsibility. He is also co-chairman of The Commission on Public Relations Education, liaison to the United Nations for the Public Relations Society of America, Ambassador-at-Large for the Global Alliance on Public Relations and Communications Management, and a member of the Accrediting Council on Education in Journalism and Mass Communications.

A former journalist, Paluszek has written many commentaries for business and academic journals such as The Journal of The Public Affairs Council, Journalism Studies, and The United Nations Global Compact Learning Forum. He is the author of “An American Journey”, his immigrant family’s multi-generational memoir, and seminal books on corporate social responsibility, “Organizing for Corporate Social Responsibility” (Amacom) and “Will The Corporation Survive?” (Prentice-Hall). He has lectured on corporate responsibility and reputation management at U.S. colleges and business conferences on four continents.

A graduate of Manhattan College (B.A., management), He is a trustee-emeritus of the college and has been awarded a Manhattan College honorary degree, Doctor of Humane Letters.
