WHY MARQUETTE?

I came to Marquette in 1978 as Dean of the College of Journalism. I have remained at Marquette because it balances research and teaching in its programs and is concerned with the welfare of its students.

AWARDS

Fulbright grants for teaching and research in Kenya (1985-86); Uganda (1989-91); China (2001-03). Ford Foundation teaching grant in Nigeria (1971-73).
