Spring 2007 Induction and Honor Cord Presentations

The Beta Epsilon Chapter of Lambda Pi Eta welcomed 5 new members into the organization on Wednesday. Junior's Shaina Manog and Aubrey Trembly (new inductees Katherine Lee, Mary Griffin, & Heather Hecimovich were unable to attend) as the latest inductees. In addition to the induction of new members, LPH seniors Stephanie Cave, Heidi Heyrman, and Joseph Petek received their honor cords for their upcoming graduation ceremony in May.

Hunger Clean Up 2007 Recap

Today, LPH members Brett Higdon, Joseph Petek, Stephanie Cave, LPH Advisor Dr. Scott D'Urso, and LPH "friends" and fellow volunteers Jenn Eisenmann and Catherine Nelson participated in the 2007 Marquette University Hunger Clean Up project. LPH was assigned to the assist in cleanup of a Milwaukee resident's yard and garden.

Hunger Clean Up 2007

The Beta Epsilon chapter of Lambda Pi Eta will once again participate in the annual Marquette University Hunger Clean Up. All participants are asked to meet outside the AMU by 8a. From there we will head out to our assigned location. More information will be e-mailed to you shortly.

Spring Induction Ceremony

This spring, the Beta Epsilon chapter of Lambda Pi Eta will induct 5 new members: Mary Griffin, Heather Hecimovich, Katherine Lee, Shaina Mango, & Aubrey Trembly. We hope everyone can attend this event. In addition, all seniors will be presented with their graduation honor cords.

Officers and Advisor Attend Central States Communication Association Conference

The officers and advisor of the Beta Epsilon chapter attended and participated in the 2007 Central States Communication Conference this past weekend in Minneapolis, MN. All participated in a heavily attended panel on Facebook and Social Networking - Potential Uses in the Workplace. A special thanks goes to Dean John Pauly for providing the funds for the officers travel expenses.
