The Fall 2005 New Member Induction Ceremony was held this evening. The chapter grew by 9 with the induction of: (from left to right)Lindsay Kulla, Christina Jaspers, Rachel Caldwell, Kristen McCabe, Emily Thoms, Erin Jamieson, Jenna Shultz, Joseph Petek, and Heidi Heyrman (not pictured). We had over 25 people in attendance including parents, supporters and faculty members from the College of Communication.

In order to raise funds for the chapter's Holiday Giving Tree project, we will be holding a bake sale on December 6th from 9a -3p in the Straz Hall stairwell entrance. Members are requested to bring 1 dozen baked goods or equivalent alternative for the event. Also, please contact one of the officers to schedule some time to volunteer to be at the table sometime during the day.

The Chapter will be adopting 10 individuals for the Holiday Giving Tree project sponsored by Marquette University and run by the Greater Milwaukee Volunteer Center. These individuals have requested a gift (3 suggestions given) with a value of between $15-20. Most are asking for utility items (backpacks, coats, jeans, etc.) and a few are asking for books and CDS. All of them are adults (the children were all adopted before we had a chance, but everyone deserves a little holiday happiness!) and are clients of either the Guest House of Milwaukee, Milwaukee Center for Independence, or Ranch Community Services.
