Students interested in digital communication careers comprise our student team. At this time the staff consists of upperclassmen. Students bring strong design, writing, web, and/or graphics skill sets from their previous coursework and related experiences. The director assesses skill sets, provides opportunities for enrichment, and assigns projects to individuals or teams as the project requires.
A team of technical support student assistants works closely with our design team. Hardware, software, and network issues are addressed by this support team.
Students staff the lab virtually each day classes are in session. Collaboration among student team members is encouraged and expected. This continuous sharing and advancing of skills is the key to consistent skill sets from one school year to the next.
Training by the director is ongoing, as is the search for community experts who are interested in mentoring our student staff.
