“Who you are speaks so loudly, I can’t hear what you’re saying.” - Ralph Waldo Emerson

Madelynne Miller is interested in the arts and creative writing. She spends her free time dancing to Korean music and helping those around her.

The administrative success director at her high school, Messmer High School in Milwaukee, Wis., recommended Miller to the workshop.

As an artistic, funny, motivational, and uplifting person, Miller sees her strengths being in photography and writing.

Miller is a silent person; however, she is working on her communication skills in order to become more confident.

“I’ve been in my shell too long,” said Miller. “It’s getting too hot in there.”

Miller enjoys writing short stories and poems. She has no prior journalism experience, but she likes the writing process when writing articles.

Miller hopes to attend Cardinal Stritch, or, as a second choice, Marquette University for future education.

No matter where the future takes Miller, she will continue to write and express herself through the arts.
