MAY 2014 Commencement information

Attendance is required of all candidates for May graduation; academic apparel is to be worn.  (Prior permission to be absent must be obtained from the individual dean.)  Tickets are not needed; families and friends are invited to attend.  Seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis.  Doors will open at 8:30 a.m.

All candidates for graduation please enter at the west entrances of the Bradley Center by 8:45 a.m. Procession lines will form at 9:15 a.m.  There will be no rehearsal; complete instructions will be provided at the Bradley Center.

Candidates should assemble around the banner of their respective school or college.  Graduate School candidates will be divided into two groups:  master’s degree candidates and Ph.D. candidates.  Master’s candidates: please assemble around your respective banners.  Ph.D. candidates: gather in Locker Room C.  All candidates will march in the academic procession and be seated during the Commencement ceremony according to individual schools and colleges.

The Commencement ceremony will begin promptly at 9:30 a.m.  It is expected to conclude by
11:30 a.m.

 

ENTRANCE AND SEATING FOR PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES
Enter at the main entrances and take the elevator to the second level.  Elevators are located in the inner lobby, behind the staircase.
