Direct Deposit Initiative
Beginning January 1, 2010, the university has decided to require all employees to receive their pay via direct deposit into their bank accounts. To assist us in making this change you will need to provide the Comptroller’s Office with your banking information by no later than November 30th . Forms are available for download (click here) or in the payroll department. Instructions for enrolling online are available below. In the event you do not have a bank account and wish assistance in setting up a bank account please feel free to contact Julie Laubenstein, Payroll Manager, at 288-7264 or via email at julie.laubenstein@marquette.edu.

Once you are paid through direct deposit, you will be able to view your pay information online through MyJob (http://myjob.mu.edu). For instructions on changing your payslip print options and viewing your pay slip online see below.

Revised Federal Payroll Tax Withholding
The IRS has issued updated withholding tables to help you implement the withholding adjustments required by the new economic stimulus law. More details about the Making Work Pay credit are available in Publication 15-T, New Wage Withholding and Advance Earned Income Credit Payment Tables (for wages paid through 2009). Do I need to change my W-4?
You are not required to file a new W-4 to receive the Making Work Pay Credit, however you may want to revise your withholding. Eligibility is not only determined by your adjusted gross income for the year as discussed in the Revised Federal Payroll Tax Withholding Memo.
