A number of our very own Marquette family gave of their time and talent to support the Mission of Mercy. The 2-day event held in La Crosse, WI was sponsored by the Wisconsin Dental Association and supported by many local and national vendors.
Marquette employees volunteered in many different capacities including interpreting, chair-side assisting, sterilizing the many instruments, or getting the right paperwork filled out and escorting patients to the appropriate areas. Marquette volunteers helped make this a positive experience for the over 1500 people, who were provided with more than $850,000 in free dental care.

COS MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of the Committee on Staff is to strengthen Marquette's mission by encouraging excellence, faith, leadership, and service in university offices and workplaces. Committee on Staff is dedicated to serving as a liaison between Marquette's support staff and the University administration. The committee advocates on behalf of support staff and encourages university improvements at the policy level.
