Sexual Assault: Know Your Resources
Description: The goal of our secondary prevention program is to establish a base of knowledge with participants about what sexual assault is and how to aid sexual assault survivors in their recovery.
Specific topics covered include:
- Consent-what it is and how it is given
- Sexual Assault Myths and Facts
- Responding to survivors-what do do, what not to do
- MU/Community resources for sexual assault survivors

Healthy Relationships
"Pet Names, PDA, and Abuse: Examining Relationship Dynamics"
Description: Participants in this program seek to answer the question, "What makes a healthy relationship?" VOICE members lead an activity designed to identify harmful attitudes and behaviors within relationships. Participants discuss how to communicate and address conflict within relationships.
Sexual Assault
"Confronting Attitudes that Enable Sexual Violence"
Description: The group participates in activities designed to identify harmful attitudes and behaviors that foster an environment supportive of sexual violence. VOICE members also facilitate discussion about why such harmful attitudes exist and what can be done to change them.
Men's Roles in Stopping Sexual Assault
"Take a Stand: Empowering Men to Stop Sexual Violence"
Description: What is the role of men in preventing sexual violence? Participants examine this question in VOICE's male-audience oriented program. The program first focuses on identifying harmful attitudes and behaviors that perpetuate a sexually violent culture. VOICE members then lead an activity and discussion on how men can stand up and take action to stop sexual violence.
