THINKING CLEARLY & ANALYTICALLY      1.5 CEUs

The ability to think may be a person’s greatest asset.  Unfortunately, we spend very little time learning to develop this skill.  Experience with “Thinking Clearly and Analytically” shows that this is often the major area that needs improvement.  Even managers with strong problem-solving and decision-making ability often score lower on this competency.

Like any skill, thinking can be developed, with the proper training and coaching.  Intelligent people do not think well inherently; although by learning the tools of good thinking, they can improve their ability to think.  The thinking skills developed in this course focus on the specific part of the thinking process that emphasizes clear, logical though.

This is a highly experimental course. Short lecture and presentations will be followed by experimental experiences and practice session.  There may be some work required outside of class.  Participants will be urged to look for additional opportunities to practice the concepts developed in class.  Fee will include thinking skills assessment and all problem materials.
