All applicants will be invited to a personal interview at Marquette University. A diverse pool of 30-40 participants is selected each year.

The nine-month Future Milwaukee Leadership Program costs $1,800, which includes learning materials, tours and activities (limited financial assistance is available).

How to Nominate

Businesses, institutions, non-profit organizations, and community leaders nominate potential Future Milwaukee participants. To nominate an individual, contact one of the Future Milwaukee representatives below by phone or e-mail. Please share the nominee's contact information and a brief description of why you think this individual is a good candidate for the Future Milwaukee Leadership Program.

Professional Project For Master's Degree

By participating in the nine-month Future Milwaukee program, you will complete an approved project with a nonprofit agency partner. This experience can be incorporated into a scholarly paper and one of several capstone project options for the master of arts in public service or master in leadership studies offered through Marquette University's College of Professional Studies.
