Future Milwaukee: How to Apply:Scholarships

Financial Assistance

The Future Milwaukee leadership program offers a limited number of scholarships to qualified applicants for up to one-half of the total cost of tuition.

The scholarship deadline is June 30, 2013. To be considered for a Future Milwaukee scholarship please submit the following information by email to mcps@marquette.edu or mail to:

• Response to the following questions (three paragraphs maximum length):

1. How are you currently involved in the Greater Milwaukee community?
2. How will you use your experience in the Future Milwaukee Leadership Program to improve the Greater Milwaukee community?
3. What are your specific reasons for applying for a scholarship?

• Any additional comments or information which you feel will help the Future Milwaukee Leadership Program Scholarship Committee in getting to know you.

The Future Milwaukee Scholarship Committee will review your submitted application and notify you of its decision in mid-August.

Gwen Jackson Scholarship Application (full scholarship)

This scholarship is named for Gwendolyn Jackson, a lifelong volunteer who has had a tremendous impact on the Milwaukee community and will be awarded to an individual dedicated to serving the community in which they live.

We will evaluate the applications based on:

1. Demonstrated community service
2. Desire to learn about leadership and community service as a lifelong pursuit
3. Demonstrated need for financial assistance
