Criminal Justice Administration Specialization
Who is it for?
The specialization is designed for those who want to prepare themselves for public service positions within the field of criminal justice administration.
Several objectives underlie the scope and content of the specialization:
- Offering an ethical and scholarly understanding of the issues and ramifications of current and anticipated policies in criminal justice.
- Developing persons capable of exercising independent, analytical thought consistent with the needs of a democratic society.
- Providing a core of professionals familiar with the issues of criminal justice management and policy analysis.

The Criminal Justice Administration specialization can serve people working in all areas of criminal justice, including:

Curriculum (2008-2009 Academic Year)
To earn a master's degree in public service, you must complete a total of 36 credit hours of course work. A student must complete 21 credit hours of public service core courses 15 hours in your specialization. If you have any questions, please contact the College for clarification.
