In October 2008, the Marquette Real Estate Club participated in the second annual Harold E. Eisenberg Foundation Career Day and students had the opportunity to network with and learn from commercial real estate industry professionals. On-going participation in the Harold E. Eisenberg Foundation Mentor Program is an exciting opportunity for real estate club members to experience the real working world through the eyes and mind of a real estate professional. The program offers a front row seat to the real estate industry. For more information on this opportunity, please visit the Harold E. Eisenberg Foundation Web site.
Students also have the opportunity to participate in the College of Business Administration Mentoring Program. Beginning in their junior year, students can apply to be matched with an industry professional. As a commercial real estate student, you would be matched with a mentor working within real estate. This mentor/protégé relationship is helpful for industry information, resume review, networking, etc. To learn more about the program, e-mail us.
Mentorships are also available through WCREW (Wisconsin Commercial Real Estate Women), IREM (Institute of Real Estate Management), and CARW (Commercial Association of Realtors Wisconsin).
