The Kohl's Sophomore Shadow Program gives sophomore students the opportunity to observe and network with professionals, investigate a career field and clarify career goals and interests. All sophomores interested in learning more about Kohl's Department Stores and exploring future career interest and internship opportunities are encouraged to apply!

Students can apply to participate in this program by submitting their resume on MU Career Manager by November 29th, 2013. Students will hear back by December 20th. Students who are accepted will then have to fill out another form via a private Kohl’s link to confirm attendance.

This event is open to students of all grad levels (freshman through senior) interested in the IT industry. Each topic will be presented in an interactive, hands-on format that will hopefully engage the students. Such topics will include data security, big data, cloud computing, Java programming, and mobile commerce.

2014 Changes to the Immigration Law

Join the Office of International Education, the Business Career Center and the Career Services Center for this informative seminar delivered by immigration law expert Bob White, J.D. who will discuss visas and employment eligibility for international students. 

Mr. White is a frequent lecturer, moderator and panel participant on immigration issues affecting the business and academic communities.  He serves as immigration counsel for numerous colleges and universities and is a member of the leadership team of the NAFSA: Association of International Educators Region V. Mr. White was previously Chair of the Chicago Chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), member of the AILA Board of Governors and a member of the Chapter's Department of Labor Liaison Committee.

EPIC Info Session/ Site Visit

EPIC is hosting talented students from across Wisconsin on their campus. This will be a great opportunity for students of all majors and interests to learn about the healthcare industry, network with other motivated students, hear about Epic, and most importantly, have fun! The day will include tech talks, Q&A Panels, and role-based information sessions.

Transportation: The Marquette Career Services Center will provide transportation to interested students. All students must arrive at the CSC (Holthusen Hall - First Floor) by 7:45 a.m.; we will depart at 8:00 a.m. promptly.  After the event, we will leave Epic at 2:45 p.m. with an estimated arrival back to campus around 4:15 p.m.

Please register on MU Career Manager by Friday, October 31st so we know how many students would like transportation.
