Seeking a public relations/communications student to serve as STUDENT COORDINATOR of the Marquette Career Fair in September and the WorkForce Career Fair in February. In down times, student would also assist in general office tasks.
- Must be able to work in January during winter break.
- College credit possible.

Dates Of Position: June 2008 to beginning of March 2009
Duties:
- Serve as Student Coordinator of the career fairs
- Communicate regularly with the Career Fair Coordinator (Assistant Director in office)
- Handle and coordinate Career Fair employer registration, database input, publicity, billing, set-up, and closing reports plus assist Career Services staff in other aspects of fairs
Qualifications:
- Interest in event planning field
- Positive Attitude
- Organization and time management skills
- Excellent written and oral communication
- Intermediate skills in Word
- Ability to use database or willingness to learn
- Reliable, trouble-shooter, problem solver
- Ability to take a project and “run with it.”
Hours: June 2008 to March 2009. Approximately 15 hours
per week and 18-20 hours during weeks leading up
to fairs.
Pay: Internship position pays $8.00/hr.
