The most extensive program that the Career Service Center/Marquette
Library has is ReferenceUSA.
This database contains over 12 million companies and organizations
throughout the U.S. Because it is a database, you can pull out
a certain type of industry in a certain state, city or metropolitan
area. An example might be all the pharmaceutical companies in
Chicago and its suburbs. In addition to the list, you can click
on each company and get basic information such as address and
phone, size of company by employees, sales figures and sometimes
names of managers.
