Dressing well for an interview is the best way for you to make
a positive impression. It is important to project a professional
image. Employers may assume that this is the best you will ever
look. While interviewing for internships and full-time positions,
you should ALWAYS wear a suit. If you don't have one, get one
or borrow one.
Pre-meetings: Business casual attire is appropriate.
This includes khaki pants and short-sleeved polo shirts, slacks
or skirts and long-sleeved shirts. Don't wear jeans, tennis shoes,
tight or short skirts, t-shirts, and sweatshirts. Business casual
attire does not apply to grooming standards. Your appearance should
remain neat and respectable. This includes nicely pressed clothing,
polished shoes, and conservative accessories.
