Academic Calendars
Academic calendars (unabridged, undergraduate, graduate, law, dentistry and health sciences) are established by the Registrar’s Office. Please consult the Provost Office’s Class Schedule Issues memo for additional information.
Identification Cards
All Marquette employees are required to carry photo ID cards. Each college, school, program or department will issue to new faculty and administrators an Authorization Form to be presented by the employee at the Union Station, located on the lower level of the Alumni Memorial Union.
Marquette Card
Marquette Card Services, housed in Union Station, Alumni Memorial Union first floor, allows members of Marquette University to use their MarquetteCARD as a “cashless” way to pay on campus vendors and select off campus vendors. Deposits can be made to a users card online, at stations located throughout campus, or in Union Station. Visit the MarquetteCASH site for more information on the MarquetteCARD and locations that accept MarquetteCASH.

The Registrar's Office offers a snapshot of the schedule of classes, updated daily, providing allowing users to access course information by college/school, subject area, and level.
Course Catalog
Marquette’s course catalog is only available online. Guest access is available through the above link. Full access is available by logging onto Checkmarq. Please consult the Provost Office’s Class Schedule Issues memo for additional information.
Parking Services
The Parking Services Office is opened Monday through Friday from 8:00 pm to 4:00 pm in the Wells Street Parking Structure. Visitor parking is available at the two parking structures (on 16th Street on the west end of campus and on Wells Street at the east end of campus) that serve Marquette. Additional street parking is provided by the City of Milwaukee in and around the Marquette campus.

Banking
U.S. Bank has a branch housed on the first floor of the Alumni Memorial Union at Marquette University. Available banking services for employees include direct deposit to a U.S. Bank checking account which can be accompanied by no monthly service fee, no minimum balance requirement, unlimited check writing, U.S. Bank Check card, unlimited account withdrawal and deposit transactions at any U.S. Bank, and no service charge for U.S. currency traveler’s cheques. There are also a number of U.S. Bank Super ATMs throughout campus that are able to dispense postal stamps, buy phone minutes and transfer funds in addition to regular ATM cash withdrawal services.
Postal Services
Union Station, located on the first floor of the Alumni Memorial Union, provides the campus with U.S. Postal Service including packaging materials for mailing, stamps and daily U.S.P.S. pick ups. Union Station is open Monday through Thursday 8:30 am – 5:30 pm and Friday 8:30 am – 4:30 pm.
Child Care
Marquette's Child Care Center is located in William and Evelyn Krueger Parent and Child Center, serving the children of students, employees and alumni. The center provides care for children six weeks through five years of age with a days-off and summer camp for children six to 12 years. The center is open year-round from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday, and is closed on all university holidays. For information, including enrollment openings and fees, call (414) 288-5655.
Faculty Development
The primary clientele of the Center for Teaching and Learning are Marquette faculty and graduate students who intend to have careers in higher education. The Center strives to improve teaching and learning by means of both traditional understandings such as those developed in more than 450 years of Jesuit pedagogy and more recent insights that come from the cognitive sciences and new electronic technologies.
The Office of the Ombuds
The Office of the Ombuds, located in Cudahy Hall, is available to the Marquette community to help answer questions, address concerns and resolve complaints by providing information and resources, advice and coaching, and dispute mediation. All inquiries are anonymous.
Employee Assistance Program
The university provides a confidential, independent Employee Assistance Program through Symmetry, an outside agency. This service is confidential and Marquette is not notified of who is voluntarily utilizing the service.
University Ministry
University Ministry provides a number of faith services for the Marquette community, including services, pastoral care and retreats.
Office of Mission and Identity
The Office of Mission and Identity exists to advance the awareness and realization of Marquette's mission as Catholic, Jesuit university in every dimension of University life. Iit oversees University Ministry and the Manresa Project, and maintains an ongoing dialogue with key university offices in order to support their efforts in the area of mission effectiveness and mission leadership.
Faber Center for Ignatian Spirituality
The Marquette University Jesuit Community has generously given the university a $2 million endowment for the establishment of the Faber Center for Ignatian Spirituality, which is dedicated to the promotion of Ignatian spirituality among faculty and staff.
The Faber Center's offerings include retreats, spiritual direction, discussion groups, days and evenings of reflection, and other opportunities for exploring spirituality in everyday life.
The Manresa Project The Manresa Project, funded by the Lilly Endowment Inc., is focused on the theological exploration of vocation. "Exploration" is the key word, because elements of Manresa are designed to help students, faculty and staff search for and ask important questions about meaning, purpose, life's journey and using one's gifts and talents to serve God. Key to our success is faculty involvement, for it is faculty who are clearly connected to the experiences of students within this academic environment.
Public Safety
With a combined philosophy of service and prevention, the Department of Public Safety, located in Parking Structure I, is dedicated to maintaining a safe environment conducive to learning, living and working at Marquette University.
Campus Safety Protocols
For any emergency, call Public Safety immediately at (414) 288-1911. Public Safety provides guidelines for the following situations: Medical Emergency; Fire Emergency; Tornado and Severe Weather; Bomb Threats; Hazardous Materials; Suspicious Packages/Envelopes; Suspicious Persons; Retail Theft; and Robbery.
Part-time and Adjunct Faculty Definition, Benefits and Recognition
Part-time faculty members are an important and integral part of the Academic Department at Marquette University. The purpose for this policy is to delineate the definition of part-time faculty. This document also clarifies the existing employee benefit programs for part-time Faculty. Additionally, it establishes the university wide recognition program for part-time faculty.
