Student Support Resources
Office of Student Development
The Office of Student Development, located in Alumni Memorial Union 121 and 329, helps students get connected with a wide range of activities. Student Development staff serve as advisors to the Marquette University Student Government (MUSG) and provide support to over 250 student organizations. Many of the Office's programs are administered through the Center for Community Service (AMU 329), the Leadership Education and Development (LEAD) Center (AMU 140) and the Multicultural Center (AMU 111). These centers serve as educational and programming hubs that provide support for campus activities. Additionally the Office of Student Development coordinates Preview, Orientation, Music Programs, Greek Life, Commuter Programs, Winter Flurry and the Student Conduct System.
Office of Disability Services
The Office of Disability Services works to foster an accessible Marquette community by assisting students in meeting individual needs and interests on campus, and developing awareness of the needs of students with disabilities to the campus community.
Office of Student Educational Services
The Office of Student Educational Services, located in Alumni Memorial Union 317, provides tutoring, study skills, disability and retention services.
Writing Center/Academic Services
The Writing Center, located in Raynor Library Room 240 offers one-to-one tutoring to all Marquette students, staff, and faculty on all kinds of writing projects, from first year English papers to graduate theses, from history papers to personal statements for law school.
Educational Resources Center
The Educational Resource Center, located in Schroeder Health Complex 199, is maintained by the College of Education and houses a large collection of materials, including children’s and young adult books, sample copies of elementary and secondary school textbooks, audio-visual material and equipment, available to Marquette faculty, staff and students, and Milwaukee area teachers.
Counseling Services
A professional staff of psychologists, professional counselors, clinical social workers, and a psychiatrist offer assistance to students dealing with a host of personal concerns at the Counseling Center, located in Holthusen Hall. In addition, many outreach programs are delivered each year and the center provides career counseling to students. All clinical services are confidential and free for full-time students.
Office of Student Affairs
This office, located in the Alumni Memorial Union, coordinates and oversees the work of the Student Affairs departments. Although primarily an administrative office, many students come here for information.
Office of Residence Life
The Office of Residence Life is responsible for working with students to create vibrant living communities within the residence halls and university apartments. The Office of Residence Life is also responsible for conference services, including summer conference housing and assistance to faculty and staff who wish to sponsor conferences or workshops on our campus.
Student Health Services
Physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners and nurses in the SHS clinic (located in the Schroeder Complex) provide diagnosis and treatment of illness and injury, immunizations, sports medicine, prescriptions, allergy injections, women's care, etc.
University Ministry
University Ministry provides a number of faith services for the Marquette community, including services, pastoral care and retreats.

The proclamation of the Good News in word, sacrament, and service, and living out of the gospel values is the mission of University Ministry in the “city” that is Marquette University.
As missioned by the Catholic Church this work of love is directed particularly toward the education and pastoral care of students and other members of the university community. This mission is further defined by a commitment to continuing the work and spirituality of St. Ignatius Loyola.
HAVEN (Helping Abuse and Violence End Now) Network
HAVEN, located in the 707 Building, is a network of campus providers offering services and support to those affected by sexual assault, dating violence or stalking. Assistance following a violent crime is available. Prevention-oriented peer education programs are also offered.
