Community Service

Rural Outreach Program

The School of Dentistry is currently affiliated with three community dental clinics that serve different rural populations across the state of Wisconsin.  These clinics are located in Appleton, Eau Claire and Stevens Point.  Each of these clinics serves 100% low income patients and/or Medicaid recipients.

Health Careers Opportunity Program

The Health Careers Opportunity Program (HCOP) at Marquette University is a federally funded program that provides opportunities for disadvantaged students who are interested in health professions.

MEDAL Program

The MEDAL (Medicine, Engineering, Dentistry, Architecture and Law) Program is a joint project sponsored by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction, the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee, Marquette University, the Medical College of Wisconsin, the Milwaukee Public Schools, Milwaukee School of Engineering, and the Milwaukee Area Health Education Center. The program offer students in grades 9 through 12 the chance to explore dentistry and other health professions.
