DDS/MS and DDS/PhD Program
The School of Dentistry offers a DDS/MS and DDS/PhD Program.
These programs provide a unique opportunity for interested and qualified
students to earn an MS or PhD degree while completing their Doctor
of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree. Acceptance into the programs is
highly competitive and is limited to five students per class.
The degrees can be earned in any appropriate degree-granting department of the university or through a traditional collaborative program with the University of Minnesota. Also available is a unique and innovative DDS/Ph.D. training program in Oral Cellular and Molecular Biology through the University of Rochester Medical Center. This program offers several financial incentives along with an “on time” DDS graduation. Click on this link for a description of the Rochester training program in Oral Science. PDF
