Advanced Education in General Dentistry

Purpose and Description

The purpose of this program is to develop advanced education in general dentistry that will provide training beyond the level of predoctoral education in clinical dentistry and applied basic and behavioral sciences. The program expands the scope and depth of the dentists’ knowledge and skills in order to provide care to a wide range of population groups. The program provides education at the postdoctoral level and a smooth transition into a general dentistry career.
