Pediatric Dentistry


Pediatric Dentistry is within the Department of Developmental Sciences, which consists of:

  • Pediatric Dentistry
  • Orthodontics and
  • Behavioral Sciences

Where are we located?

We are on the second floor at the School of Dentistry.


Clinic Operations & Scheduling

Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Patient Care Activities

The Division of Pediatric Dentistry provides clinical services by both faculty and students.

Services provided by students

  • exam/treatment plan

  • oral hygiene instructions

  • caries preventive techniques such as sealants and fluorides

  • restorative procedures (silver and white fillings)

  • stainless steel crowns

  • root canal for children

  • emergency appointments (trauma, pain due to dental infections)

  • space maintenance

Services provided by faculty include consultations and complete dental treatment under general anesthesia. General anesthesia cases are performed under an agreement with Children's Hospital of Wisconsin.
