Programs

The OMA, together with the Health Careers Opportunity Program (HCOP), sponsors several pre-matriculation programs for high school and college students.

  • Summer Enrichment Programs are six-week summer programs for high school juniors and seniors who are interested in health careers.

**Not being offered for Summer, 2007

  • The College Science Enrichment Program (CSEP) is a six-week summer program targeted at sophomores, juniors and seniors who are interested in learning and understanding more about dentistry.

**Not being offered for Summer, 2007

  • The Pre-Enrollment Support Program (PESP) is a four-week summer program for students accepted for enrollment in the School of Dentistry that will introduce the dental curriculum prior to their official  matriculation.

**PLEASE NOTE: Due to budget cuts at the federal level, the Health Careers Opportunity Program will not be able to provide the following programs during the Summer of 2007:  Summer Science Enrichment Program, College Science Enrichment Program and pre-college programs for high school students. Our HCOP Office is working with our local, state and federal representatives in order to lobby for allocation of funds to HCOP Programs at the federal level. If you desired specific information, please contact the HCOP Office at (414) 288-5505. We hope that in a near by future we could continue to provide our outreach programs to students interested in pursuing careers in the health care field.
