M.S. and Certificate in Orthodontics
Why a Master's Degree of Science?
A Master's Degree of Science is an integral
part of the program. A research thesis is required to graduate.
Most
of the research has been directed towards material related projects
and clinical outcomes. A core course has been put in place, which
includes all the specialties. This provides a better mechanism for
interdisciplinary activity and orthodontics forms an integral part
of the core curriculum.
Residents are encouraged to seek research
projects in other areas and are not limited to the Division of Orthodontics.
