Orthodontic training at Marquette is provided in a two-year program accredited by the American Dental Association. The orthodontic residents are dentists (DDS or DMD) who are being trained as specialists in orthodontics.
Orthodontic faculty are dentists (DDS or DMD) who have completed 2-3 years of specialty training in an accredited orthodontic residency program beyond their 4 years of dental school training.
M.S. and Certificate in Orthodontics
A 2-year Certificate Program in Graduate Orthodontics
The graduate program is 24 months in duration with an emphasis on high quality clinical training. First year residents normally take on an initial caseload of 40-50 patients and then receive an additional transfer of 90-100 patients in their second year.
There is a strong commitment from the local orthodontic community and our part-time faculty provides most of the clinic coverage. We have 15 part-time clinical faculty who have broad experience in clinical orthodontics; seven are board certified and five are current members of the Angle Society.
Dr. Thomas Bradley is the chairman of the Graduate Orthodontic Program. Dr. Jose Bosio is the Clinic Director.
