Dr. Eva Dahl

Dr. Eva Dahl is a graduate of the University of Iowa College of Dentistry where she received her D.D.S. degree. She completed five years of specialty training in Endodontics and Oral Pathology at the University of Iowa receiving an M.S. degree. She continues to serve on the faculty at Iowa as a Clinical Adjunct Professor and at Marquette as an Adjunct Associate Professor.

Dr. Dahl has practiced endodontics in the La Crosse area full-time since 1982, previously as a member of Gundersen Clinic, and presently at Endodontic Specialists of La Crosse Ltd., which she founded in 1996.Dr. Dahl is actively involved in state and national dental organizations. As a Board-certified endodontist, she is a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics and has served on the Board of Directors of the American Association of Endodontists. She is a Past-President of the American Association of Women Dentists.   She also served eight years on the Wisconsin Dentistry Examining Board. She is a Fellow of the American College of Dentists (FACD), the International College of Dentists (FICD), Omicron Kappa Upsilon, and the Pierre Fauchard honorary society.  She served as President of the Wisconsin Dental Association in 2007. Dr. Dahl contributes to the advancement of endodontics through national lecturing and continuing education seminars. She resides in Onalaska WI with her husband, her dachshunds and her horses.

She is currently an Adjunct Associate Professor of Endodontics at Marquette University School of Dentistry.

 

Dr. Joseph deGuzman

Dr. deGuzman was born and raised in the Milwaukee area attending Marquette University High School, Marquette University (BS Biology 1985), Marquette University School of Dentistry (DDS 1989). After graduating from Dental School he completed a General Practice Residency at the Clement Zablocki Veterans Administration Hospital followed by 6 years of private general dental practice. He returned to Marquette in 1995 for his residency in endodontics and received his Certificate in Endodontics and MS degree in 1997. Dr. deGuzman maintains a private practice in Germantown and West Bend, WI and has been involved with the dental school since 1990 serving on the faculty and most recently the Part Time Faculty Steering Committee and the Dental Alumni Board.

Dr. deGuzman is an active member of the ADA, WDA, OWCDS, AAE, and WAE where is had served on the executive committee and is a current member of the Peer Review Committee.

Dr. deGuzman and his wife Mona live in Wauwatosa and have 5 children. A supporter of Milwaukee Sports teams he is an avid basketball fan and golfer who enjoys spending time with his family.

He is currently an Adjunct Associate Professor of Endodontics at Marquette University School of Dentistry.

 

Dr. Joseph L. Gaffney

Dr. Joseph L. Gaffney received the degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery in 1975 and a certificate in Endodontics in 1980 from Marquette University School of Dentistry.  He has practiced Endodontics full time since 1980, and has also been a part time faculty member at Marquette University School of Dentistry both in Undergraduate and Graduate Endodontics.  In 1998 he was acting Chair of the Department of Endodontics and acting Director of the Graduate Endodontic Program at Marquette.

He is currently an Adjunct Associate Professor of Endodontics at Marquette University School of Dentistry.

 

Dr. Christopher Kingma

Dr. Kingma is from Grayslake, IL and attended the University of Iowa where he earned his B.B.A with Honors in Accounting and Finance in 2004. Following a brief career in public accounting, he returned to the University of Iowa and earned his D.D.S. in 2011.

Immediately after dental school, Dr. Kingma completed a General Practice Residency at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics/VA Hospital in Iowa City, IA, where he received additional training in dental emergencies/trauma as well as treating medically compromised patients. Dr. Kingma moved to Milwaukee, WI and completed a two-year residency at Marquette University School of Dentistry where he received his Endodontic Certificate as well as his Masters of Science degree in May 2014. During his residency Dr. Kingma served as Chief Resident and participated in multiple research projects involving metallurgic properties of current endodontic instruments as well as endodontic regenerative procedures.

Dr. Kingma is a member of the ADA, IDA, Davenport Dental Society and the AAE and is currently licensed in both Iowa and Wisconsin. Dr. Kingma is currently undergoing the Board Certification Process.

Dr. Kingma enjoys spending time with his family including his wife, Kelly, their daughter Katelyn and their golden doodle Bailey. Outside of family, Dr. Kingma enjoys running, golf, skiing and all things Hawkeyes!

He is currently an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Endodontics at Marquette University School of Dentistry.

 

Dr. Daniel Nencka

Dr. Daniel Nencka graduated from Marquette University School of Dentistry in 1977. He spent 2 years in the US Navy Dental Corps stationed at Great Lakes Naval base providing general dentistry services for recruits and sailors in advanced schooling. After serving in the Navy, he practiced family dentistry in his dental office in Franklin, WI for 7 years. While practicing general dentistry, he pursued his interest in Endodontics and was accepted into the Endodontic specialty program and was awarded a specialty certificate in Endodontics in 1988 from Marquette University School of Dentistry. He joined Endodontic Associates Ltd in 1988 which is the longest established Endodontic practice in the Milwaukee area and is still actively employed performing Endodontics. He has been a part time facility member at Marquette University School of Dentistry form 1980 to 1989 in the removable Prosthetic and Endodontic departments and from 2006 to the present in the Endodontic department. His experience in the clinical performance of endodontics is the main asset he contributes to the students and department.

He is currently an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Endodontics at Marquette University School of Dentistry.

 

Dr. F. Kris Olsen

Dr. Olsen is a graduate of Emory University Dental School in Atlanta, Ga. He then received his certificate in Endodontics and a Master of Science degree from Marquette University. Along with private practice, he has a part-time faculty position in the Endodontic Department. Dr. Olsen also enjoys spending time with his family and attending Marquette basketball games.

He is currently an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Endodontics at Marquette University School of Dentistry.

 

Dr. Rebecca Stohler

Dr. Stohler is currently an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Endodontics at Marquette University School of Dentistry.

 

Dr. Michael Zielinski

Dr. Zielinski graduated from the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana with a Degree in Biology. He received his D.D.S. from the University of Illinois-Chicago. While studying at the College of Dentistry, he was the recipient of several awards including the Horace Wells Senior Student Award for excellence in dental anesthesiology, the Leslie J. Braun Jr. Award for excellence in dental diagnosis and treatment planning, and the Donald L. McElroy Award for professionalism in endodontics. After receiving his D.D.S., he entered into endodontic residency at the University of Pittsburgh, where he was awarded his Certificate in Endodontics.

Dr. Zielinski currently serves as an associate professor of endodontics at the Marquette School of Dentistry and is in full time private practice with Meridian Endodontics & Periodontics. He is an active member and lecturer for the Greater Milwaukee Dental Association and Waukesha County Dental Association. Dr. Zielinski is also an active member of the American Association of Endodontists, and the American Dental Association.

He is currently an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Endodontics at Marquette University School of Dentistry.
