Steamboat Springs Resort

Plan a ski trip you’ll always remember at Steamboat’s only ski in/ski out conference resort, the Sheraton Steamboat Resort.

While in Steamboat, chances are that you will get to see one of our many Olympians practicing or competing in Nordic events at Howleson Hill or Freestyle Events on Mt. Werner. Known as "Ski Town USA" Steamboat is home to more Olympians (56 and counting) than any other town in the United States. In February, celebrate Steamboats Winter Carnival, complete with fireworks, chariot races, the "lighted man" and Americas only high school band on skis.

You can also enjoy snowshoeing or cross country skiing on Rabbit Ears Pass. Take a snowmobile tour or dogsled ride through the backcountry. View Steamboat from the sky in a hot air balloon. Or relax your muscles in the natural hot springs of Strawberry Park. In the evening take a sleigh ride to dinner on the mountain or to a quaint country inn.

From December to April our backyard is your winter fantasy. Enjoy the thrill of alpine skiing, snowboarding, and more on our world famous "champagne powder."

At the end of the day drop your skis off with our valet. Then, sip your favorite drink by the fire, enjoy a latte in the Starbucks Coffee® Shop, or shop in one of our many boutiques or art gallery. Learn the art of relaxation in our rooftop hot tubs. Make every night as sweet and enjoyable as your days with slope side views from your private balcony and the ultra-comfy Sheraton Sweet Sleeper (SM) Bed.

Eastern Caribbean CE Cruise

Aboard the New Celebrity Solstice

The Lectures:

Updates in Adhesive Dentistry

During the first portion of the cruise while we are at sea we will discuss the latest materials to arrive on the market in adhesive dentistry. This will include self-etchants versus total-etchants and the indications for each.
There will also be a segment on various composites and resin cements and how to use them. Dr. Poss will demonstrate the use of these materials in a step by step process. Each clinician should leave this session with sufficient knowledge of these materials and techniques to feel comfortable using them in their office the following week.

Updates in Laboratory Fabricated Restorations

During the second portion at sea Dr. Poss will address the latest dental materials such asinlays/onlays, all-ceramic crowns, veneers and metal-free bridges. This will include step by step preparation design of these restorations. Dr.Poss will review a quick method to fabricate provisionals, and cementation of the various types of materials. There will also be discussion on the contraindications for each of these types of restorations. The clinician will leave with a better understanding of these dental materials and how to place them.
