How to Become a General Clinic Patient
Dental care in the general clinic is provided by pre-doctoral students
under the supervision of licensed faculty dentists and dental hygienist.
Prospective patients are required to have a screening appointment to
determine if their needs are suitable for treatment by a dental student.
Getting on the Screening Appointment List
Prospective patients can call (414) 288-6790 to be put on our list
for a screening appointment. We are not taking registrations for new patients at this time. Please check back for the next dates of our open registration. Once an opening becomes available, a registration
attendant will call you back to schedule an appointment. Your name
will remain on our list until an appointment is scheduled, or two attempts
have been made to schedule a time.
Screening Exam
At your first appointment a screening examination will determine your
dental needs, and whether the clinic will be able to provide dental
services. A screening appointment does not guarantee that you will be accepted as a patient. If we do accept you as a patient, we will schedule you for any
necessary x-rays, and you will then be assigned to a student dentist,
who will do a complete dental examination and work out a specific treatment
plan that best suits your needs.
