Infection Control & Infectious Disease Policies

The Infection Control and Infectious Disease Policies of the School of Dentistry are in compliance with the American Dental Association, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommendations and Wisconsin State Regulations. 

For the protection of all our patients, we adhere to infection control procedures known as standard precautions. 

All dental instruments used in the clinic, including handpieces, are heat sterilized after each use, and our faculty, staff and students wear gloves, face masks, protective eyewear and gowns when treating patients.
