Scholarship Resources
The following Web sites and materials are provided for the convenience
of our current and prospective students, alumni and interested members
of the public.
ADA Dental Student Scholarship
The maximum annual award for the Dental Student Scholarship is $2,500.
Applicants must be entering second year students at the time of application
and currently attending or enrolled at a dental school accredited by
the Commission on Dental Accreditation. Applicants must also demonstrate
a minimum financial need of $2,500 and have an accumulative grade point
average of 3.0 based on a 4.0 scale.
ADA Minority Dental Student Scholarship
The Minority Dental Student Scholarship Program mirrors that of the
Dental Student Scholarship described above. Certain minority groups
have been identified as being underrepresented in dental school enrollment.
At this time, African American, Hispanic and Native American students
are eligible to apply for this scholarship. The maximum annual award
for the Minority Dental Student Scholarship is $2,500.
Army
Dental Scholarship Information
The Financial Assistance Program
for the Army Dental Corps is open to oral surgeons, endodontists, periodontists,
pediatric dentists and orthodontists at any point during their residency
training.
Hispanic Dental Association Scholarships
To encourage entry of Hispanics into oral health careers, the Foundation
was created in 1995 and now administers four different scholarship
funds. Each fund has its own unique purpose, and each has its own benefactor.
Wisconsin Dental Association Scholarships
The Foundation provides scholarships to dental students from Wisconsin.
