MU Nursing Scholarships
The College of Nursing has a variety of scholarship opportunities available to undergraduate and graduate nursing students. Depending on criteria/scholarship requirements, eligible students are invited to apply.
Statement of Need
If all options for assistance have been exhausted submit a statement of need to Business Manager, Clark Hall, Room 245. Nursing has a small amount of funding that may be awarded to students with exceptional financial need. Note: Students who have not registered with the Office of Financial Aid (414-288-7390) or completed a FAFSA will not be considered for aid by the College of Nursing.

Opportunities are posted in Clark Hall Terrace (ground floor).
Tuition Scholarship
You can apply for tuition scholarships through the Marquette University Graduate School (Holthusen, Room 305) www.grad.mu.edu/. Tuition scholarship credits are awarded each fall. Students must be full-time in order to compete for scholarship credits. Awards are variable (usually 2-5 credits per student).
Teaching Assistant/Research Assistant Positions
Apply for these positions at the graduate school (Holthusen, Room 305) www.grad.mu.edu/. Positions are announced (notices placed in Clark Hall mailboxes) in February and all full-time graduate students with RN licensure may apply. Application materials are available from the College of Nursing, Room 245. Award notification is sent out by the graduate school in April/May for the academic year beginning the following August.

Marquette University Nursing Scholarships
(MSN level, must have RN licensure, must be full-time)
Up to 18 credits of tuition scholarship for each semester of the academic year. Must agree to work with undeserved populations upon graduation. Application materials available in February for the academic year beginning the following August.
Federal Nurse Traineeship Award
The College of Nursing has a variety of scholarship opportunities available to undergraduate and graduate nursing students (need-based and competitions). Several scholarships have been designated specifically for students entering the direct entry program; statement of need serves as application for these funds; please submit by June 1. Depending on criteria/scholarship requirements, eligible students are invited to apply.
