The PAI is a 4 day overnight program which provides an opportunity for students to experience college life. Activities to help prepare for their 1st year & beyond at MU include, but not limited to:
- Orientation to the library (Martha Jerme, librarian)
- Sessions on test & note taking, time management (Student Educational Services)
- Test anxiety & how to cope w/ being away from home (Counseling Center)
- Orientation to Micro Soft Office 2007
- A mock Intro to nursing class (Gloria Rhone)
- Writing Center presentation
- University scavenger hunt
In addition, each participant will receive a Survival Kit (MU College of Nursing backpack w/ pens, pencils, folders, flash drive, etc.).
Registration will be accepted until capacity is reached.
