Since 2004, Gale Klappa has served as chairman, president and chief executive officer of Milwaukee-based Wisconsin Energy Corporation and Wisconsin Energy’s principal utility subsidiary, We Energies. Klappa joined Wisconsin Energy Corporation in April 2003 as president. He was elected to the company’s board of directors in December 2003.
Klappa discussed the Milwaukee 7 — a regional economic development collaborative among seven counties, the city of Milwaukee and the state of Wisconsin — and its mission to attract and retain business in the region.
