"Good ideas win." Jeff Hoffman, founder and former CEO of the priceline.com family of companies, would know. He is a partner in ColorJar, a venture accelerator firm he founded that helps entrepreneurs and small business owners launch and grow new business ventures. Hoffman launched his first software company while a student at Yale University and has founded and grown a series of successful start-up companies throughout his career.
Hoffman shared with the Marquette community what it takes to be an entrepreneur, including the major life lesson he learned from five-time heavyweight champion of the world Evander Holyfield.
The event was part of the Nov. 14-20, 2010, Global Entrepreneurship Week at Marquette. Entrepreneurship Week sought to advance the practice of entrepreneurship and innovation on campus and beyond.
