What are the Office of Disability Services hours?

Our staff continues to be available during normal business hours (Monday-Friday 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.) to address any questions or concerns you may have. Our main office is staffed between 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Monday - Friday.

We generally encourage contact via email at ods@marquette.edu (preferred), or calling us at 414-288-1645.

I am interested in exploring accommodations through ODS, how do I start this process?

Information about the process of exploring and arranging accommodations can be found on our Accessing Accommodations webpage.

I have documents I need to send into the office. What is the best way for me to submit them?

Email and fax are our preferred ways. Submitting documents via regular mail or dropping off documents in person will result in delayed processing.

Our email is ods@marquette.edu and our fax is 414-288-5799.

What happens now that some exams are online? How do I ensure I still receive my accommodations?

The Extended Time on Quizzes, Tests and Exams accommodation should generally still apply to online timed tests. Other accommodations may or may not apply. Discuss your testing accommodations with your instructors after providing them with your letter. You are welcome and encouraged to ask specific questions about how your accommodations will be coordinated. If you are concerned that you will not  receive approved testing accommodations, please do not hesitate to contact us at ods@marquette.edu.

I want to talk about new accommodation needs. What should I do?

Please contact us at ods@marquette.edu. If needed, we can set up a phone or virtual meeting to discuss your concerns and possible appropriate accommodations.

What other supports are available through ODS?

ODS offers Supplemental Academic Support (SAS) meetings for all students registered with our office. During these meetings, students can discuss time management and study skills techniques. We know that this new online-only format will  be an adjustment for everyone. If you feel that you would like to discuss ways to stay productive and engaged while in virtual classes, please email us at ods@marquette.edu to set up a SAS meeting.

What if I have other COVID-specific concerns?

Please email us at ods@marquette.edu and share as much information as you feel comfortable providing. We will route your email to the most appropriate staff person to begin to address those questions.
