Note from an Alumnae

“Marquette University's Division of Student Affairs played an integral part of my college experience and inspired me to pursue a career in urban education. The wealth of experiences and skills that I gained from Student Affairs programming allowed me to discern my vocation, deepen my spirituality and participate in service programs both in and outside of Milwaukee.

My interest in urban education was ignited by the staff, the experiences, the programs, and the service opportunities offered by the Division of Student Affairs. Without the influence of the Division of Student Affairs, I am not certain I would be where I am today.”
—Erin Galvin, Class of 2013

Student Leadership Awards

Student leadership awards

The Division of Student Affairs presents leadership awards annually to recognize student contributions to the mission and activities of the various student affairs areas. Students are nominated by staff from the division and throughout the university and are selected by a committee representing each of the student affairs departments and Campus Ministry. Awards are presented at a program held each year in April. Read more about the student leadership awards.
