Graduate Assistantships

The STPA program offers students opportunities to apply theory-to-practice as Graduate Assistants. Students gain experience in numerous areas like Recruitment, Student Conduct, Residence Life, Intercultural Engagement, International Education, and Student Development.

The graduate assistant positions for the 2014-2015 academic year have been selected and the process is now closed.

The application process for the 2015-2016 graduate assistant positions will resume during the fall 2014/spring 2015 College Student Personnel Administration (STPA) admission season. Please contact the program at for more information about the assistantship positions and how to apply to the program.

STPA Program Preview & Assistantship Interview Day

The College Student Personnel Administration Program (STPA) hosts its annual Program Preview & Assistantship Interview Day in February each year to give candidates the opportunity to learn about the STPA curriculum, tour Marquette University, meet faculty from the College of Education, network with fellow applicants, and interview for graduate assistantships.

The date for the 2015-2016 academic year will be released to applicants in the fall 2014.

Important Deadlines

Due to the nature of the application process for graduate assistantship positions each fall/winter, it is important to notify the Graduate Assistant for STPA Recruitment of your interest in the program. You will then be added to the contact list so that when information about the graduate assistantship application process becomes available, you will be the first to be notified.
