The STPA Graduate Assistantship search process takes place annually. The College of Education hosts its annual Program Preview & Assistantship Interview Day in February each year. This on-campus event includes program preview activities in the morning, interviews for graduate assistantship positions in the afternoon and a social sponsored by the College Student Personnel Association in the evening. The day gives candidates the opportunity to learn about STPA curriculum, tour the campus, meet faculty from the College of Education, network with fellow applicants, and interview for graduate assistantships.
The deadline for assistantship interviews has passed for the Fall 2013 school year. If you are interested in assistantships, the next hiring process will take place next fall/winter for the 2014-2015 academic year. Please check back for updated information about the February 2014 Program Preview & Interview Day.
The application process for graduate assistantships begins annually in the fall/early winter. Applicants interested in applying for a Graduate Assistantship must complete their application to the STPA program by the deadline in order to be considered.
Please note that the application process for Graduate Assistantships is separate from the graduate admissions application.
Due to the nature of the application process for graduate assistantship positions each fall/winter, it is important to notify the Graduate Assistant for STPA Recruitment of your interest in the program. You will then be added to the contact list so that when information about the graduate assistantship application process becomes available, you will be the first to be notified.
