Dr. Kathleen Clark Receives Way Klingler Teaching Enhancement Award

Dr. Kathleen Clark was the recipient of the 2012 Way Klingler Teaching Enhancement Award for her project entitled Excellence in Literacy Instruction: An Innovative Approach for Preparing Pre-service Teachers and Speech-Language Pathologists.
The project is a collaborative effort undertaken with Dr. Maura Moyle of Speech Pathology and Audiology to create an inter-disciplinary course to prepare students from Education and Speech Pathlogy to collaboratively provide high-quality literacy instruction, particularly for urban, low-income children. Course planning will begin during Summer 2012 with plans for completion and evaluation in Spring 2013.
