Admissions
All applicants
for the Marquette University Doctoral Program in Education
must meet Graduate School Requirements (including the 3.0 GPA requirement) plus the following
program requirements:
- Graduate Record Examination
- All Academic Transcripts –
Evidence of strong undergraduate and graduate preparation
- Personal Statement – A written
statement articulating research interests and professional
aspirations
- Writing Sample – At least
one example of scholarly writing
- Recommendations – A minimum
of three recommendations that reflect qualifications
for doctoral work
- Interview – An interview may
be required, following an initial evaluation of the
applicant
The following must be submitted
to the Marquette University Graduate School by January
15th:
- Completed Graduate School Application
Form and fee
- Completed Financial Aid forms
- Official transcripts of all
undergraduate and graduate credits
- Application packet that includes
the personal statement, sample of writing and letters
of recommendation
- GRE scores (sent from ETS)
Applicants are strongly encouraged to submit a complete, self-assembled application packet of all application materials, other than test scores (GRE, GMAT, TOEFL, etc.). For more information, visit http://www.grad.mu.edu/future/req4.shtml
Deadline for submission of materials is January
15th. Applicants will be notified by March
15th.
