Doctoral Student Named APA Student Representative

Matt Drymalski, a second year doctoral student in Counseling Psychology, was recently elected to the position of Student Representative of the Advocacy Committee of Division 50 (Addictions) of the American Psychological Association. The Advocacy Committee is responsible for the organization of task forces which monitor legislation impacting the field of addictions.
Matt’s doctoral research and practice interests lie in the fields of addictions and health psychology. He is looking forward to serving on the committee and is excited about the opportunity to learn more about the political processes which influence the delivery of substance abuse treatment.
