Archdiocese Welcomes New Director of Catholic Schools
Released: 2/22/07
Charles F. Allison has been hired as the Director of Catholic Schools for the Archdiocese of Milwaukee, effective March 1, 2007. Dr. Jack Augenstein, former dean of the Marquette University School of Education, has served as interim director since August of 2006.
Archbishop Dolan writes “Chuck brings an impressive background in strategic planning and corporate marketing from more than 20 years in the private sector at SC Johnson and Innavision Global Marketing Consultants. These skills will be critical as he heads our efforts to develop and deliver strategies to promote and enhance our exemplary elementary and secondary schools. Chuck has demonstrated the necessary skills to help create a long-range plan for our Schools Office that will help us better address the issues facing our schools, namely Catholic identity, quality academic programs, enrollment, financial stability and planning.”
The School of Education joins him in welcoming Mr. Allison to his new role.
