Released: 6/14/06

Congratulations to Dr. Robert Fox and his colleagues for their dedication and hard work!

Dr. Fox was recently the recipient of the "Book of Golden Deeds" award by the Exchange Club for his work at the Behavior Clinic. This is the Exchange’s longest running program (the award has been given annually since 1919), which recognizes unsung heroes who work to make their communities better places to live.

In addition, the Exchange Club has granted the Behavior Clinic continued funding including a full 12-month research assistantship covering tuition, books, and a monthly stipend.

The Behavior Clinic, a collaborative effort between the Penfield Children's Center and Marquette University School of Education, has been serving southeastern Wisconsin since 2003.  It provides assistance free of charge to families with young children with significant behavioral problems.

The Exchange Club of Milwaukee sponsors a wide range of activities to improve our community, help the disadvantaged and encourage good citizenship.  The focus of the Milwaukee club is on youth, Americanism, and community service, with Child Abuse Prevention emphasized as the national project.
